Become a TryHackMe instructor (Live Training)
TryHackMe
TryHackMe is a gamified platform that makes learning cyber security fun and accessible, with over 4 million users worldwide. We run live classes: hands-on, instructor-led workshops where practitioners teach real skills to a live audience of security professionals and career changers.
We're looking for experienced practitioners who can teach. Not lecture, teach. People leave your sessions talking about them.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver live, hands-on cyber security classes on topics where you have genuine practitioner depth
- Plan each class collaboratively with our content team, including labs and exercises that run on the TryHackMe platform
- Keep a live audience engaged for the full session: questions, interaction, energy, momentum
- Bring real-world war stories and current industry practice into the room, not just slides
- Iterate on your class based on attendee feedback
Requirements
- Significant hands-on industry experience in your subject area (SOC, IR, red teaming, cloud security, threat intel, or similar)
- Experience delivering live training, workshops, or conference talks to technical audiences
- Excellent public speaking: clear, confident, and comfortable thinking on your feet
- Ability to explain complex technical topics with clarity, to mixed-experience audiences
- Creativity in how you teach: demos, scenarios, storytelling, whatever makes it land
- Reliable setup for remote delivery (camera on, good audio, stable connection)
Preferred experience includes:
- Prior teaching or instructing role (bootcamps, universities, corporate training, Cybrary-style platforms)
- Familiarity with TryHackMe or similar hands-on lab platforms
- An existing audience or community presence in cyber security
What we offer
- Paid per class, with revenue share potential
- Full production and logistics support: we handle scheduling, promotion, attendee management, and platform setup
- Lab infrastructure and technical support for your class environment
- Exposure to a global audience of engaged security learners
- A collaborative planning process, not a content mill
How it works
- Stage 1: Express interest via our form
- Stage 2: Intro chat to confirm interest and fit
- Stage 3: Screening call to align on topic, availability, and terms
- Stage 4: Class planning with our content team
- Stage 5: Deliver your class
