Account Director
Fabric Social
About Fabric
Fabric isn’t your average social agency - we’re mavericks, culture-obsessed, trend-first and community-first thinkers. We’re not just about reach; we’re about resonance. We nourish communities, creating social ecosystems that pull audiences in, not just push content out. And now, we’re on the hunt for an Account Director to help lead the charge.
Account Director
We are hiring an Account Director to lead the relationship with Currys, one of the UK’s leading brands on social, and help shape work that makes a genuine impact. You’ll bring strategic clarity, commercial awareness and a deep understanding of how brands can connect meaningfully with social audiences. As a senior member of Fabric’s Client Services team, you’ll unite clients, creatives, strategists and production specialists around ambitious, effective work. This is an opportunity to build trusted partnerships, influence the direction of a major account and help both clients and colleagues thrive.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the day-to-day relationship with Currys, becoming a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders and providing clear, informed counsel.
- Shape integrated social strategies that connect with wider marketing objectives and reflect platform developments, audience behaviours and cultural trends.
- Guide campaigns across organic social, paid media, influencer marketing and creative content, with a focus on quality, innovation and measurable impact.
- Turn client briefs into clear scopes, budgets, timelines and ways of working, partnering with project teams to keep delivery on track.
- Bring creative, production, strategy and paid media colleagues together to deliver thoughtful work that meets the brief and raises the standard.
- Manage account health and profitability, identify opportunities for sustainable growth and address commercial or delivery risks early.
- Support and develop colleagues through clear direction, constructive feedback and an inclusive, collaborative approach.
Skills we're looking for:
- Significant relevant experience in client services within a social agency, creative agency or leading brand environment.
- Strong knowledge of the social media landscape, including how platform behaviour, community insight and cultural context shape effective content.
- The ability to build credible, consultative relationships and guide senior clients through complex decisions with clarity and diplomacy.
- Experience developing social strategies and overseeing integrated campaigns from initial brief through to delivery and evaluation.
- Sound commercial judgement, with experience managing scopes, budgets, resourcing and account growth.
- Clear written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex information into focused recommendations.
- A collaborative and supportive mindset, with experience helping colleagues develop while taking ownership of shared outcomes.
