Job Description:
We're on the lookout for friendly and caring Childcare Practitioners, both at Level 2 and Level 3, to be part of an amazing team. As a Childcare Practitioner, you'll be the heart and soul of our childcare centre, making sure that every child has a fantastic experience while they're with us.
Key Responsibilities:
For Childcare Practitioner (Level 2):
-Playtime Extraordinaire: Dive into playtime with the kids, making sure they're having a blast and staying safe.
-Sidekick to the Lead: Team up with our lead practitioner to keep things running smoothly and join in on the fun.
-Little Things Matter: Assist with feeding, diaper changes, and keeping our childcare space tidy and welcoming.
-Learning Through Play: Engage children in age-appropriate play and activities that help them grow and develop.
For Childcare Practitioner (Level 3):
-On top of the Level 2 responsibilities, Level 3 practitioners may get to:
-Learning Adventures: Plan and bring exciting educational activities to life, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
-Champion of Development: Keep an eye on children's progress, providing extra support and guidance when needed.
Every Child is Unique: Embrace the individuality of each child, tailoring activities and approaches to suit them perfectly.
-Building Team Spirit: Collaborate with your fellow childcare heroes to create a supportive and loving environment for all.
Qualifications:
For Childcare Practitioner (Level 2):
Got a Level 2 Childcare qualification or something similar? That's fantastic!
Experience in childcare is a big plus.
Enhanced DBS.
Love kids? We're looking for that genuine passion.
For Childcare Practitioner (Level 3):
Hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification or its equivalent.
-You've been around the block in a childcare setting, with a knack for planning and child development.
-Enhanced DBS.
-Know your way around the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework? Impressive!
-Great communication, organization, and leadership skills? Even better.
