Employee Relations Partner Contract

Employee Relations Partner – London (Hybrid) – 6 month Contract – UMB £437.16 per day
ARM are delighted to be hiring for an Employee Relations Partner to join one of our clients based in London on a contract basis.

This role involves the dismissal of people and dealing with different cases; anything that involves ending of a contract, medical terminations, permanent adjustments, bullying and grievances cases, investigating, to provide a good outcome.

Responsibilities
* Support our line managers by providing timely and values driven specialist advice on high risk/complex individual ER issues.
* Support our line managers by providing timely and values driven specialist advice on all complex employee matters.
* Identify trends in cases for the Senior Manager.
* Coach line managers to build their capability to manage their people ensuring any individual employee relations issues are closed with appropriate recommended actions.
* Support the Employee Relations Adviser team.
* Trade Union representatives to ensure constructive and professional relationships.
* Legal to seek subject matter expert advice.

Requirements
* Know how to apply, educate and champion performance management tools and approaches.
* Identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Significant HR experience, including strong background in employee relations and case management.
* Experience of working in a complex, highly unionised environment in a partnership approach with trade unions
* Experience of coaching managers on complex cases
* Experience of diagnosing problems/issues
* Professionally qualified, e.g. higher level degree or equivalent (desirable)
