What you will be doing
You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Whether you have experience as a Care Assistant or Care Worker, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people lead a valued and fulfilled life.

The shift patterns include working 7.5 hours a day, between the hours 7am -10pm. Permanent, full time. Weekends on a rota basis.
Where you will be working
Location: 1A Upper Brighton Road, Surbiton, Surrey KT6 6LQ
1A Upper Brighton Road based in Surbiton is part of our learning disability and autism division and provides support for people who may be living with severe learning disabilities, autism and behaviours which, due to their diagnosis may be seen as challenging.
Residents may also have profound and multiple communication difficulties, sensory impairments and physical health problems.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will offer support to people as part of their care pathway. Whether it is moving from their community placement or a family home because they require more structured care and support.
Your aim will be to encourage individuals to lead a full and valued life, enabling them to live more independently through a programme of active community engagement, developing meaningful social networks and developing robust coping strategies.
All what we expect from you
Must hold experience of Senior Support Worker/Team Leader Support Worker or extensive care experience from Learning Disability and Autism type of service, and ideally hold the NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards
The ability to show strong empathy, a caring and compassionate nature
Willing to support the resident with the personal hygiene
People skills, communication skills and a good sense of humour
Willingness to deal with the challenging behaviour
A positive & professional approach
Reliability, flexibility, hard work and honesty
Team working ethos aligned to our company values
Ideally you are driver and hold the UK drivers license
Must be based at a commutable travel distance and time You must live in the UK and have the Right to Work in the UK full time. 20-hour Student Visa's cannot be accepted.
