National Events Sales Manager

Wanted for an International Hospitality, Retail business. Overseeing London and the South.

Location: West London- 2 days WFH

Salary: £40k+ excellent bonus

Identify, establish and build a pipeline of new opportunities with corporate customers and conference agencies by selling conferences within the brands locations. Drive revenue and profit targets. Identify and make contact with key decision makers in order to understand their conference requirements and actively sell the businesses capability.

Candidate Profile:

*Experience within the Conferencing, Event Management or Corporate Hospitality industries
and a good understanding of the requirements of Corporate Customers
* Significant track record of new business and Account Management focused sales within a
regional role
* Proven commercial track record with extensive experience in new account acquisition and
management
* Knowledge and experience of the Request for Proposal process (RFP)
* Familiarity with C&E, and corporate sales strategies
* Great network within the hospitality industry
* Demonstrable track record of success in a Business to Business telesales environment

Skills
* Commercial Acumen: Able to assess commercial opportunities based on a broad
understanding of markets and business issues and focus on those with the greatest
potential
* Analytical: Takes a logical and methodical approach to the analysis of information to
draw accurate conclusions
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional telephone
manner with the ability to clearly present information in an engaging and confident
manner
* Relationship Management: Strong relationship building and relationship management skills
at all levels of an organization
* Solid IT skills: Able to collate and present data on Excel, create engaging
presentations on PowerPoint and compelling proposals using Word
