SANZA Teaching Agency are seeking to recruit a Primary Teaching Assistant to work within a Primary Provision for Autism, who deliver the National Curriculum.
Are you a graduate, seeking a move into Special Educational Needs? Would you like to work in a small team, take on additional training and work with the national curriculum, supporting children with additional needs?
No prior teaching, educational training / qualification necessary.
Full training and guidance will be provided. Experience of working with young people is desirable.
Successful candidates will join the small, friendly, and supportive team of experienced staff.

The role involves working as a Primary Teaching Assistant delivering a very CREATIVE KS1 or KS2 curriculum within a maximum class size of between 6 and 10 pupils working alongside an experienced team of Teaching Assistants, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists.

They have a holistic approach to the child's learning journey. Usually they look for someone who, academic, creative, and nurturing towards the children.
Every day the entire school staff have a briefing at 8.45am to set plans for that day.
Children arrive to school on allocated buses, usually from 9am. From 9am children will go into class and learn their topics for the day.
Children are encouraged to form positive relationships, to take responsibility and transition from KS2 into secondary education. ABOUT THE ROLE
Working closely with our Head of SEN, Speech & Language Therapists and other experienced teaching professionals providing support and guidance, your role will be to:
implement personalised learning programmes with individual students / groups in or outside lessons
Assist teachers in planning lessons and resources for a particular subject area
enhance the provision for students by taking responsibility for specific long-term projects or short-term learning activities
support teachers in monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil achievement, progress and development.
Working with small groups of students
Working one to one with students as required
