Mobile Engineer Permanent

Field based role visiting client's premises to service and maintain fire detection and alarm systems, AOV systems, and electrical works such as electrical consumer units, lighting, and emergency lighting.

Carry out remedial works, fault finding, call outs and commissioning of new installations

Taking part in the out of hours callout Rota and assisting apprentice/junior engineers on occasion if required to do so

Fire alarm, AOV and emergency lighting servicing knowledge and experience essential – minimum 3 years

Detailed knowledge of the principles of relevant British Standards and BAFE

Relevant fire safety qualifications with the FIA/BAFE and 18th Edition

Full Driving licence – no points being the ideal

Excellent inter-personal communication skills

Able to work openly and co-operatively with others

Self-motivation and ability to organise own time effectively

Experience of managing multiple simultaneous activities.

Good verbal communication skills essential

Good non-verbal communication skills (writing etc.) – essential

IT literate – essential
