We are looking for Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineers to work on projects in the Thames Water area for a large, respected Tier 1 contractor. The perfect applicant will have experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment. The projects are for a Tier 1 on Thames Water, with ongoing work.

Duties will include:
Supervising drawing work to ensure that it is carried out in accordance with method statements and work Instructions from the project manager
Recording the progress of works on record drawings or other suitable means when required
Organising and leading the progress meetings
Working within a team to find the most efficient solution to problems
Contribute and create design documents, e.g P&ID, GA's, Layouts, Specifications and schedules
Undertaking high level problem research and definition to collate relevant information to the projects and design problems
Adding a touch of innovation to the project Requirements:
Experience working within the Water Industry is essential
Experience as a design lead/design manager within the water industry
HNC or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering
CSCS
SSSTS backed up with sound knowledge of Health, Safety procedures
Able to create, read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
Professional Experience as a Designer
Ambitious and dynamic personality
First Aid
Valid Full UK Driving License
