This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Performance & Scalability Engineer looking to make an impact on a high-growth, real-world technology company working on exciting end-to-end projects.
This company, established in the early 2000s, design, develop and produce sensor-based defence and surveillance technology used across a wide range of industries. Projected sales of half a Billion this year and a plan to grow their team within the United Kingdom, it is the perfect time to join this innovative company.
In this role you will perform best practices with a K8 style infrastructure, using Kafka or other brokers and build microservices on it as well as suggesting how to build them in the best way. Working on large distributed K8 microservice orientated infrastructure with knowledge across both code (Python) and infrastructure, you will play a crucial part in the new project!
The ideal candidate will have a background in DevOps or Performance / Scalability Engineering. You will be experienced building microservice architectures / K8 clusters (on-prem), ideally in Python but other languages will be considered. And able to solve common distributed problems including high-availability, scalability etc.
