An amazing opportunity to join a well-established investment and development company based in North London as a Chartered Building Surveyor. This company pride themselves on their large portfolio of properties, with a strong focus on the improvement of areas and properties.
The ideal candidate would have no less than 5 years commercial surveying experience as well as the ability to confidently execute their role independently, on all aspects of Building Surveying, alongside an entrepreneurial mind set.
Information on the role
* Project management and contract administration on small to medium sized projects up to £3M including, vertical extensions, CAT A & B refurbishments, and PPM works
* Manage external consultants when required on project work
* Pre-Acquisition services for acquisitions
* Reinstatement Cost Assessments and yearly reviews
* Defect diagnosis and reactive maintenance
* Assist property managers with planned preventative maintenance strategy
* Provide dilapidation advice
* Collaborate with agents and solicitors to facilitate asset transactions
* Manage insurance claims
