My client is a market leading, privately-owned MEP Contractor with a deep history, mainly renowned for successfully delivering major commercial projects across the South East of England.
Due to some recent successful tenders, they are on the market for a hungry, ambitious, technically savvy MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their ranks.
Projects on offer are Commercial, Commercial Fit-Out and CAT A Fit-Out, all in exclusive areas of London. M&E values range from £19m to £30m and scheduled end dates are in 2024 and 2025.
Some of your duties will include:
To ensure a timely submission, compilation, agreement with the onsite personnel as well as a client’s representative to concur with agreement of measure/submission.
To assist and work with the project team, production submission and agreement with the client’s representative/site team as well as regular updating of the project cost plan, production of budgets and subsequent confirmation of the budget within the month.
Attend monthly project reviews with the leadership team and produce surveying reports.
Assist the Project Manager when needed with assessment and selection of and cost options regarding sub-contractor proposals.
Attending monthly meetings with the surveying team and clients to agree variations and cost plan applications.
Assist in production of projected cash flow charts, project WIP sheets and monthly summary project costs.
