Fawkes and Reece are currently working with a key client of Fawkes and Reece, a busy Tier 1 Contractor in the search for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on projects including Industrial, commercial and residential on an initial project in East London.
The business have gone from strength to strength over the past 3 years, have a good pipeline of work with both new and repeat clients. They have work all across the UK, You will generally work from sites so must be willing to travel within 1 hour of home.
The projects range up to £90m and you would be working initially as an Assistant Surveyor working as part of a team on a industrial project in East London is due to start on site in May. You will be responsible for subcontractor payments and management from tender through to final accounting plus additional duties working closely with the team to ensure successful delivery of the project.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Graduate Surveyor and worked on projects reporting to a more senior member of the team and been involved in the above requirements.
They have an excellent training and progression plan for their staff and promotions are based on individual performance and they are not shy of promoting from within.
If you are a Trainee and still completing your degree but have a a few years experience they can offer educational support and day release (salary will differ)
In return they can offer a salary up to £42,000 + car or car allowance, travel to sites and pension.
