We are currently representing a growing Interior Design Specialist and Supplier that are actively looking for a Furniture Coordinator to join their team based in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a Furniture Coordinator to develop their career within a well-established team.
The successful Furniture Coordinator will be involved with taking a project from concept through development to production. This requires good liaison with project managers, sourcing of items and strong communication to workshops, to ensure furniture is delivered to site on time.
Our client is market leading supplier of furniture and bespoke creations in the Hospitality and Commercial sectors. This would be a great opportunity for a Furniture Coordinator to develop their experience whilst working on new and exciting projects.
Furniture Coordinator Position Overview
Liaise with project managers regarding customer requirements – this is an important responsibility of the role
Source furniture and feature items as appropriate having considered customer and production requirements
Maintain efficient systems and documents to enable work to be specified to production and completed to the correct standard
Ensure items are manufactured correctly via liaison with production workshops
Check quality of outgoing items
Liaise with Logistics department regarding delivery of items
Provision of key information throughout the manufacturing process
Ensure work flow follows critical path necessary to achieve delivery dates
Flag any issues to Furniture Coordinators Manager, project team or production as required
Adhere to health and safety rules and wear protective clothing as required
Furniture Coordinator Position Requirements
Excellent organisational skills and good communication skills
Understanding of how furniture is constructed; training provided
Understanding of specification requirements; training provided
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Ability to work with other departments
Understanding of critical paths
Dependable and responsible
Capable of using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel to a reasonable standard
Photoshop and AutoCAD capability desirable but not essential
Living in or around the Salisbury area
Relevant Degree Qualified
Furniture Coordinator Position Remuneration
Salary; £22k – £30k (DOE)
Holiday; 20 Days + Bank Holiday
