Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor Permanent

Fawkes and Recce are currently working with an M&E Sub-Contractor who are looking to expand their MEP Team through the addition of a new Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor.

Our client has been established for well over 50 years and is currently achieving record levels of turnover and only expects to grow exponentially in the years to come. To match this growth, they will need solid Senior-Level personnel on board to support this. The project is a shell and core commercial fit-out project close to London Bridge, averaging an MEP value of c£40 million.

The role would require the successful candidate to be comfortable ensuring the timely receipt of quotations for materials, equipment and sub-contractor works, undertake commercial assessment of quotes received and ensure the timely placement of orders. You would need to demonstrate understanding of internal and external tender strategies and would also need to possess strong timekeeping skills as you will be required to make sure all contractual processes are completed on time. Being a confident and effective communicator is key for this role and you will be reporting directly to the Commercial Manager.

The client is looking to pay up to c£80,000 with £6,000 for car allowance and all travel costs covered.
