Consult are proud to be the exclusive recruitment partner of the dynamic French-based Opticians; Optical Centre, and supporting their UK launch. Working alongside the Managing Director, we are looking for Optical Assistants who are ready to embark on a unique challenge, being fundamental to the UK growth of a patient and people focused Opticians, working alongside, and supporting the development of a like-minded team.
Being an Optical Assistant at Optical Centre is a varied role, engaging with customers and patients, as well as clinical professional colleagues, and a dynamic leadership team. This role is best suited for ambitious individuals that are looking to gain access to a developing business whose ambition and drive for both patient care and growth match your own. As a dual-service provider, you will also have access to training in supporting the hearing care team, one of medical healthcare’s fastest growing industries.
With over 700 stores globally, and operating across 8 countries, they are familiar with what the requirements of launching a new brand in a new country. Recruiting local experts who understand not only the clinical requirements, but also the unique demographics of the area – all to provide a bespoke customer journey.
Responsibilities:
· Be a representative of the brand and business ethos of ‘See only the good – hear only the best’.
· Support clinical care alongside Dispensing Opticians, Optometrists and Audiologists.
· Drive commercial success by advising patients and customers on the frame choice that best suits their personal style as well as functionality.
· Develop your personal understanding and skillset.
· Support the business as required in elements that contribute to its success, and ability to provide consistent patient care.
About You:
· Previous experience as an Optical Assistant.
· Confident and outgoing with an energetic personality.
· Approachable, and friendly disposition.
· Comfortable with working independently and with initiative.
· Ambitious to progress your career.
