CAD Technician wanted in London!
KBB Recruitment are pleased to be working with a leading, London based, commercial kitchen company to help them find an experienced CAD Technician.
This is a varied, sometimes challenging role, where the successful candidate will be applying their design skills and flair to produce innovative solutions to achieve functional and efficient workspaces.
Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have the ability to convert any technical concept and catering solution into concise drawings using CAD or REVIT. Any drawings produced, will be used to assist the Project Team through to estimating, orders and then installation. Therefore, these must meet high quality and measurable standards.
Main duties will include:
* Be able to interpret technical requests into drawings.
* Work closely with the Project Team assisting with any troubleshooting or new developments.
* Become an integral player in the design and development of existing catering equipment solution and services provided.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential to understand and respond to the client brief, so to produce the ideal design for their needs
* Liaise with internal staff and external customers to ascertain their needs prior to conversion into the required CAD drawings.
* Assist with any other duties as required by the business in line with your skill set and experience.
* Report directly to the Design Manager
* Assisting with the development of current and new business
Skills & Experience Required:
* Must possess AutoCAD 2D & 3D REVIT software experience and be qualified to City and Guilds standard or equivalent.
* Must be able to create visualisations and “walk-throughs” so the client is fully engaged in the design that is being proposed.
* Must be able to work equally as well as part of a team or on your own.
* Possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Be able to agree and meet reasonable time scales for the work required.
* Pay attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
Benefits:
* Salary £25,000 to £30,000 DOE
* Full time, permanent
* 28 days holiday (inclusive of annual, bank/public days).
* Access to a contributory company pension scheme, employer contribution of 3%.
