Vitae Financial Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a high-growth and entrepreneurial brand, already with strong market share across Europe, as they look to enter the UK market in 2023. We are initially hiring a credible and ambitious Finance Manager in this unique and attractive opportunity.
The successful candidate will report directly to the UK MD and have the initial task of setting up strong processes and controls. The goal is to develop the department over time and this individual will have the opportunity to build the finance team around them and shape future strategy.
The Finance Manager will oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the UK company's financial strategy and planning. You'll be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the business as it enters into this growth phase and work closely with the MD to produce insightful analysis. It will be very 'hands on' to begin with, owning the finance process end to end, before building a dynamic and talented team of individuals. You will also have support from the Group in Europe, visiting for training and liaising heavily with the Northern Europe CFO.
The ideal profile would be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant with a strong foundation in accounting and controls, coupled with strong commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial spirit. A hospitality/retail/leisure background would be highly advantageous.
