Debt Capital Markets – Manager Permanent

Establishing/developing/leading a team to win and execute bond issuance mandates from the Bank's clients.

Building close working relationships with internal stakeholders in order to identify and execute business opportunities.

Developing a close working dialogue with the London based relationship management teams across Corporate, Financial Institution and Project Finance Sponsor names in order to ensure maximum leverage of previous balance sheet support

Originate and execute the debt issuance for clients with focus on: –

London Branch's Corporate and Institutional clients.

Clients of other non-mainland entities.

Chinese mainland clients.

Collaborate with Corporate Banking and Institutional Banking Departments, together with Global Loan Syndications and Project Finance to explore, identify and execute business opportunities.

Undertake client pitches through phone calls and meetings and conduct presentations using latest market trends and own analysis.

Where appropriate undertake joint marketing/pitching within our banking group.

All such joint marketing/pitching will be done under the terms of an agreed Memorandum of Understanding with our main banking group. These include amongst other things: –

Joint Obligations (e.g., Complying with Applicable Laws; Obtaining and maintaining Licences; AML and KYC; Compliance and Control Room) and Customer Data.

Notwithstanding the above, all activity with must be done in accordance with, and to a standard no lesser than set by own Compliance Policies and Legal framework.

Additional information:

Passion to develop a career in capital markets.

Broad and deep understanding of international capital markets with at least 8-10 years international bond markets experience.

Familiar with various DCM products and the rules, regulations and documentation.

Excellent communication and team working skills.
