Our client a well-respected and reputable professional membership body based in Aldgate, City of London is currently looking for a Fundraising Executive.
The Role of Fundraising Executive.
This is a key delivery role, working across the institute with the Chief Executive and other institute managers to deliver income to the faculty through seizing on consultancy opportunities, commercialising activity for profit and gaining grant funding from trusts and foundations to support the Faculty's charitable objectives, by implementing the Delivery pillar of the Faculty's Strategic Plan.

The Person
Proven experience in generating new income from trusts and foundations, securing 5- and 6-figure grants and ideally strategic multi-year partnerships
Experience of bidding for procurement contracts preferably in an NHS environment
Experience of product development and sales
Demonstrable experience of writing successful, inspiring, emotive and accurate applications and reports
Excellent communication skills with experience in face-to-face meetings and telephone calls with funders, and ability to build solid relationships.
Proven ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues at all levels, and capable of identifying when advantageous to involve other stakeholders in key donor relationships.
Strong prospect research skills
Experience of efficiently managing a large portfolio and reporting on KPIs
Highly numerate with experience of preparing and managing budgets
Experience of working with a CRM database (ideally Dynamics 365)
Digital/IT savvy, experience of working with Word and PowerPoint and excellent Excel skills
A sound understanding of the interests and working methods of NHS organisations, trusts, foundations and charitable grant makers, and the current funding landscape
