Job Description
* Deal with incoming technical sales calls
* Convert enquiries to maximise the sale of Helifix products
* Establish and promote good working relationships with the office sales and technical teams
* Identify new commercial opportunities
* Monitor and provide comprehensive reports on the sales office performance
* Work with architects, engineers and distributors and provide required technical data
* Prepare written price quotes for sales team
* Prepare test reports based on pull test data supplied by sales team
* Utilise Glenigans Construction Data system to qualify project and sales leads
* Track and maintain project and customer data utilising MS Dynamics CRM System
* Assist with order picking, shipping and receiving
* Assist Sales Team and General Manager where necessary
* Co-ordinate sales information with other sales staff at the earliest opportunity
Qualifications and Experience
* A technical or construction related degree would be an advantage
* Experience in a sales environment, preferably within the construction industry (1-3 years)
* Be able to understand and diagnose a customers requirements and promote alternative solutions and maximise the sale
* Competent with IT hardware and software, particularly databases and order processing
* A good working knowledge of construction techniques with a good understanding of how buildings are put together would be an advantage
* Commercial office experience with strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

* Must be a highly motivated team player, with a confident outgoing personality
* Good communication skills and telephone manner
* Capable of absorbing and promoting solutions using the technical aspects of the product range
* Must possess a commercial outlook and will be willing to be accountable for actions and results
* Always able to see the ‘alternative’ solutions and present them technically, tactfully and persuasively
* Creative, problem solver, must have a ‘can do’ attitude
