A boutique fintech based in central London are looking for a Software Developer in Test to join their growing team in London and be a part of a ground-breaking new product that is disrupting finance.
The business
This fintech business have been around for over a decade, providing a range of services throughout the finance sector; they moved into the fintech space a few years ago with a cutting-edge product that is unique within the market.
The Software Developer in Test position:
As a Software Developer in Test you will be responsible for planning, developing and maintaining automation test scripts in line with the automation strategy the company has in place.
They are looking for a passionate coder who loves testing and who has a good understanding of test automation. Someone who wants to be a part of an exciting product as the company goes through a fantastic period of growth. Your role will involve performance testing, functional testing and security testing – monitoring the infrastructure and the front/backend systems.
They have a really exciting pipeline of new integrations that are required throughout the year, so there will be plenty to do!
Requirements
JavaScript, Python or Java experience
Clean code and understand principles of OO
AWS would be beneficial
Cypress would also be great
Desire to be agile, practical, pragmatic, and lean
Able to work in a team and as an individual contributor
If you have experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, or financial pricing products this would also be useful but isn’t mandatory

Salaries are currently offering in the range of £45,000 – £65,000 depending upon experience (they can be flexible however and are ideally looking for the right person to join the team.
