Business Analyst
Location: London (Hybrid)
Length: February for 6 months
Rate: £(Apply online only) per day (inside IR35)
Hours: 9am-6pm
Our client is hiring Business Analysts who can support Tax document and reconcile end-to-end customer-to-tax / customer-to-accounting process flows.
This role sits within a the Audit Data Services and Solutions (ADSS) team which is supporting our client's Tax globally. This role will own support for a combination of geo-specific audits, and global business lines.
Job Responsibilities:
• Engage with technology teams to understand how the applications work and business events, including customer orders, purchases, logistics, payments, advertisement and subscriptions flow through these applications.
• Translate knowledge from these engagements into documentation including process mapping, sequence diagrams, data models and reconciliations.
• Work with project management and technology teams to prioritise ad-hoc work in response to tax authorities and the broader program
Skills:
Must have experience in a tax, accounting or finance function. This includes consultants/data analysts. • Experience managing prioritization of their work and managing ‘up’
Ability to work autonomously
Process Mapping experience
Documentation preparation and review
Project management experience
Data skills – experience with reconciliation and comparisons of financial datasets
Nice to have skills:
Familiarity with SQL
Familiarity with AWS tech stack
