My London based Local Government client is looking for an Interim HR Business/Recruitment Development Officer to join their established recruitment team and work in partnership with Strategic Procurement and other London Boroughs to lead and run an efficient, timely and robust tendering process to ensure the appointment of Service Providers best suited to meet the Councils needs.
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager you will provide concise, accurate and effective written communication: reports for SMT and Committees; briefings; and letters as required enhancing understanding and ensuring clarity of message or action.
You will provide expert advice and guidance to Senior Management on all matters related to safer employment issues e.g. DBS, Notifiable Occupations Scheme and Disqualification by Association including interpretation of legislation which can have an impact on Statutory Services provided by the Organisation. In addition to being a subject matter expert on all matters related to immigration and act as the direct point of contact for the council with UK Visas and Immigration.
