My public sector client is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. working as part of the corporate team and with a focus on corporate services and technology spend, your role will be to lead the development and implementation of category strategies as well as lead on major procurement projects and tenders, ensuring that they comply with public sector procurement regulations as well as organisational policies.
The role requirements also include managing suppliers in order to ensure consistent delivery of performance standards as well as providing advice and guidance to stakeholders on procurement matters.
The role requires someone MCIPS qualified or working towards to qualification as well as someone with a strong background in public sector procurement, and who can demonstrate experience in category management and leading highly complex procurement projects.
This is a permanent role and will offer fully remote of hybrid working options. Salary on offer is circa £50,000
