An established principal contractor that complete projects throughout London and Home Counties areas with values ranging from £100k to £15m in value. Projects completed are predominately refurbishment and alteration works with a small amount of new build. Area of work are focused within the healthcare and education although some works are also within the commercial and industrial sectors. The company are financially secure and have an enviable client list and order book.
Site Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor
This newly created role will be based at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. You will be working within a clean and rewarding environment managing multiple projects on fast-track programmes. These projects could include replacement of taps, flooring or general re-decs and planned works to urgent refurbishment works within a live environment. You will work alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor on-site and be provided with any necessary training as required.
You will:
* Experience of 3+ years Quantity Surveying experience within a UK contractor
* Experience in Small works/Maintenance or Hospitals highly advantageous
* Able to work in a fast paced and pressurised environment
* Excellent communication, prioritisation and client facing skills
* Be well presented
* IT literate
* Commercial and contractually aware
