Business Development Manager
The Role: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales and revenue by taking a strategic approach to prospecting mid-market and corporate size organisations who operate up to 80 individual sites. The Business Development Manager will be selling a web-based platform (SaaS) to end users which helps them to manage their security requirements on site. Whether that is manned guarding, alarm response, or keyholding services. To start out with the Business Development Manager will have an existing pipeline of sales to close that are currently at various stages of the sales process. Moving on from that the Business Development Manager will focus fully on generating new business opportunities, engaging with decision makers such as FD's, Procurement and Facilities Directors. This is a highly consultative sales role, solution led and the sales cycles can vary from immediate to in excess of 6 months. An average week will consist of 4 days working from home with 1 day spent in the office in Central London.
You will be a part of a fledgling sales team which is seven members strong so far and joining a very collaborative organisation. Despite being a remote role working from home the Business Development Manager will feel as though they are a part of the business with regular communication internally via Slack, and regular socials and meet ups with the team in London. The Business Development Manager will be well supported by Marketing as they provide qualified leads and can support with presentations and data to get tenders over the line.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Must have sold a service or solution to mid-market or corporate end users
Have exposure of selling to Finance Directors, Security decision makers, and high-level Procurement
New business track record and able to sell remotely using Teams/Slack
Must be willing to travel to London once per week (Monday's)Salary: £40K basic salary + £20k-30k OTE Uncapped (paid quarterly)
