Communications and Marketing Manager £33,000 – £36,000
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to join this fantastic Charity at a time of significant growth. This organisation provides programmes for underrepresented beneficiaries, addressing disparity of opportunity, supporting young people, enriching society and helping communities. This is a hybrid role with 2 days remote working and 3 days based in their offices near Lewisham.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional Marketing and Communications professional who is inspired by change and looking to work within a collaborative, supportive and passionate team. You will need have some experience working for or within the third sector. This organisation is in an exciting phase in the development of a new digital platform, which will enable a national reach of their programmes, which will give ever more young, under-represented individuals the opportunity to connect with career resources, guidance, mentoring, work placements, internships, bursaries, events and more!
Strategy over the next two years focuses on creating human stories, reaching young people directly, influencing the Influencers, fundraising campaigns, corporate content and of course the digital transformation launch – an exciting time!
Reporting into the Strategic Director responsibilities include
* Delivering and implementing the communications strategy
* Developing, managing and delivering a communications programme
* Creating, managing and delivering clear messages, with consistency to all audiences and supporters
* Building relationships within the organisation, as well as externally, to support content gathering and impact of messaging
* Line managing 2 direct reports and matrix managing others to deliver on communication activities
* Managing external communications activities including overseeing relationships with external stakeholders
* Building relationships with pro bono experts in the field of Communications and PR.
