Registered Manager Children's Home Permanent

I have an EXCITING opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to join a 6 bed children’s residential home in Bromley, SE London supporting young people with Social, Behavioural and Emotional challenges.
I am looking for candidates already in a Registered Manager position, with a record of maintaining at least a GOOD OFSTED RATING across their previously managed homes.
 
**Due to the nature of the job and the activities involved, I am only able to consider applicants who have a full drivers licence and a car**
 
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Bonuses!
Location: Bromley (BR1 Postcode)
Hours: Full time 
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 
 
The ideal candidate will have a strong and enthusiastic approach to management, able to function in a high paced environment with experience in a Children’s Residential Management role. You will be proactive and committed, with a long term view to improving and maintaining service standards.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the opening and recruitment for the home
Hold OFSTED registration
Manage staff team within service
Ensure the staff and young people are supported at all times
Ensure the service offers therapeutic care and support
Ensure the service is safe and efficient
Manage staffing and recruitment
Ensure the service meets OFSTED standards
Requirements:

Level 5 Diploma in Care Management is ESSENTIAL
Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential is ESSENTIAL
2 Years minimum Residential Childcare experience is ESSENTIAL
Experience working within a Children’s Registered Manager position is ESSENTIAL
History of OFSTED rated – GOOD in children’s homes previously managed
Safeguarding of Children experience is ESSENTIAL
Understanding of Therapeutic Care is ESSENTIAL
Full UK Drivers Licence is ESSENTIALCan you deliver a holistic and integrated approach to care and really make a difference to the young people with ASC and Challenging Behaviours?
