We now have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Operative / Multi Trader to provide reactive and planned maintenance as part of our NHS Maintenance and repairs team Homerton, London.

We are a dynamic, multi talented organisation, working across a wide range of construction market sectors within the built environment.
Rydon Maintenance is an expanding division of the Rydon Group and is successfully providing facilities management services to a variety of clients, predominantly within the healthcare and housing association sectors.
Job Purpose
Our NHS Maintenance team has been appointed to provide a planned and reactive maintenance service to our end client at a key healthcare site in Homerton, London.
Working as part of a team you will be providing a planned and reactive maintenance service to the buildings fabric, plant, equipment and alarm systems within this busy healthcare site. In addition, there will also be some planned upgrade works and refurbishment works as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure a safe environment for service users and Trust staff.
You will be provided with excellent training/development as part of this varied and genuinely diverse opportunity. Normal working hours are 8am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. You will also have the opportunity to participate in an on-call rota system (which offers the opportunity to increase your earnings and be involved in additional urgent repairs).

Experience Required
The successful candidate will have previous relevant experience in the maintenance of buildings and ideally hold the 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification. Your planned/reactive maintenance experience will ideally have been gained within an NHS environment, though candidates with maintenance experience gained within a commercial/education environment (such as hotels, supermarkets, schools etc) will also be considered.
You will have excellent customer service skills and be passionate about providing high quality repairs/planned maintenance.
