A firm in Stratford which is purpose driven, promotes a vibrant culture and fosters teamwork & collaboration is seeking for a determined Commercial Property Paralegal!
Assisting solicitors with the day to day running of files; organising files and ensuring good file management
Carrying out searches, reviewing results and identifying any issues that arise
Reviewing title registers and highlighting any issues
Drafting standard letters to clients and other side Solicitors
Preparing short reports on leases, contracts and other ancillary documents as well as straightforward reports on title.
Managing own, small caseload of standard transactions under supervision
Keeping clients up to date; dealing with telephone, email and written queries
Post completion work to include SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications and applications to register charges with Companies House
Preparing schedules of deeds to send to clients
The Ideal Candidate:
At least 12 months of Commercial Property experience
Willing to assist with general administrative tasks as well as supporting on complex legal transactions.
Excellent attention to detail, delivering work to a high standard of accuracy.
Highly organised, reliable, efficient, and proactive with a positive can-do attitude.
The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines or time frames without compromising the quality of work.
Able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and verbally, including drafting correspondences and documents.
Self-Starter, with ability to work independently and take responsibility /ownership.
Ability to exercise discretion and judgement when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Experience of general office procedures and good practice, proactive and pragmatic approach with excellent team working ethos.
Ability to prioritise, be flexible, adaptable, and approachable with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Good problem-solving capabilities.
