Your new role
Promoting the Corporate Governance culture within the company and representing the interests of the Company in all regulatory matters. Identifying and managing regulatory compliance risks. Acting as the main point of contact for data protection internally and externally
Identifying and mitigating data protection risks ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations – GDPR, FCA, IR35
Keeping up to date with central compliance frameworks and making any necessary adjustments.
Creating and maintaining the governance framework, monitoring compliance with requirements, monitoring business processes
Establishing and maintaining a record of operational procedures manuals and analysing monthly reports
What you'll need to succeed
You should have a number of years' experience in a corporate governance/compliance role including responsibility of GDPR, IR35 and FCA compliance
Proven track record of providing advice on complex and technical areas of compliance regulation
Effective communication skills, written, spoken and listening
Previous experience with FCA compliance legislation -KYC, TCF, AML would be beneficial
Ability to balance commercial and compliance considerations for the company
