Our client, a well-know brand with a strong market share, is looking to source a credible and astute Finance Analyst to join its talented team. This is a great role for someone to add value and produce actionable insight through their data and modelling skills.
The purpose of the role is the deliver impactful data driven labour reporting, which is the biggest cost and high profile area of the business. You'll partner closely with Operations so that key drivers of site performance are understood and actionable. There will be opportunities to build on this experience in future and learn other areas of the business, with rotation and progression available.
Main duties include:
* Delivering timely, accurate and insightful weekly and periodic labour reporting and analysis from a cost and productivity perspective
* Ensuring labour costs in P&L and balance sheet are accurately reported and accounted for
* Building close links with other Finance teams
* Working with Finance Manager to generate living wage analysis, Labour budgets and forecasts and reporting of performance versus bonus targets set
* Producing weekly trading and periodic board pack schedules
* Producing site reporting including the development of KPIs and other targets
Experience and skills required:
* Studying towards ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience
* Strong analytical skills with financial modelling experience
* A team player with a keen eye for details and a continuous improvement mindset
* Good organisations and time management skills
* Can communication effectively and build professional relationships
* Proactive and positive approach to problem solving
