Children & Young People Worker Temporary

Our client, a respected national Children’s Charity, are recruiting for a Children and Young People worker to work in their Children’s Service. The role is working on a temporary contract with an immediate start.

The successful candidate will provide advice, support and services to children and their families. You will be working closely with children, young people and their families on a one to one or group basis, using a variety of interventions to identify needs and achieve positive outcomes.

As a Children and Young People worker, you will support children and young people who have experienced trauma, neglect and rejection and you will work in partnership with parents, carers to empower them and enable them to achieve better outcomes for their children.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with vulnerable young people
Knowledge of Safeguarding Children policies and guidelines and strong reporting skills
Able to listen and communicate effectively with children and young people.

* Must be able to drive and have access to own vehicle

* An enhanced DBS issued within 12 months
