Our multi channel client has been operating stores across the UK and e-commerce website for almost 100 years. The opportunity to support all UK stores with their operations has arisen.
You will report into the Head of Retail whilst working closely with IT, Visual Merchandising and the Retail Administrator (PA), you will oversee all scheduling and maintenance within the brands stores.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensure Health and safety standards are met and arranging for repairs and maintenance, as and when needed.
Key to the success in this role will be the ability to support with all maintenance and facilities coordination in a timely manner, and in line with budget.
You will support with the co-ordination of new store openings throughout the UK
Booking of maintenance contractors for ad-hoc repairs needed per store
Work with suppliers to get the best price for facilities and maintenance
Liaise with contractors and build rapport.
Assist the Head of Retail with the planning of new stores or closure/movement of store locations
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations across the brands portfolio
Review of additional services like pest control, smoke detectors etc.
Alarm and call out updates
Support with store projects
Maintain and develop the business's critical path for store openings and any refits
Assist in Store openings, refits and maintenance work, liaising with Supplier, Contractors and Head Office teams.
Work closely with Head of Retail at final stages of Store fit out process, ensuring standards, merchandising and health and safety procedures are adhered to
Act as the main point of contact on site prior to store openings
Coordinate the delivery and installation of various aspects of the store opening process, working as a support function to ensure a seamless handover to the Store management team
Maintain store and company workspace maintenance contracts in connection with gas, water, electricity, security, repairs and removals.
Maintain effective communication with cross functional departments, such as Operations, Merchandising, Buying, Human Resources, Sales and Finance
Travel to Stores as when required/directed.This role is Part Time:
30 hours a week
Monday – Friday
