Aim to reduce consumer returns by working closely with the supply base on the sealing process whilst setting realistic quality expectations all whilst implementing clear workbook processes & ways of working for both parties to follow
Quality will be at the forefront of your mind for all product ranges that are executed for the business. you will work closely with your Buying counterparts to ensure the correct fabrics are being costed and meet the business's quality standards.
You will ensure that fabrics and construction are reviewed throughout the entire sealing process
You will review the general fit of all product. You will pro-actively manage the sizing and grading of all product types, ensuring that there is consistency across all product blocks for the consumer
Consumer experience is something you will stay in touch with on a weekly basis, reviewing general customer reviews and feedback
You will work closely with your buying & design team to ensure that designs are being executed in physical form.
You will work closely to these counterparts to stay up to date with the competition & market trends across colours, silhouettes and new fabrics & trims entering the market for upcoming seasons
You will attend weekly critical path meetings to ensure that product is being sealed inline with the production plan and that delivery dates are still achievable
Trade meetings will be attended ensuring that key actions as a team are implemented to support cash drivers and any further trading activities that are needed
You will understand the current supply base and establish their strengths, ensuring that product types are being placed with the most suitable supplier
You may want to introduce and onboard new suppliers to the business that can offer best cost prices, lead times & quality for the buying team to explore
