We are currently recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our clients' team at this corporate law firm based in the City of London.
With approx. 500 on site (full capacity is 1000), the staff restaurant is busy and offers freshly prepared classic and modern food along with grab & go and salad bar.
As the Sous Chef, you will work alongside the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and team of 5. You will support on all areas as well as cover in their absence ensuring a high standard of food and service at all times. You will naturally be passionate about food and ingredients as well as able to cook from scratch.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hrs per week – No evenings or weekends!
Our ideal candidate would
-Be at Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie level with a proven work history
-Ideally have worked within corporate B&I catering or a similar environment
-Be a strong team player as well as able to lead and manage a team when required
-Be able to cook with fresh ingredients
-Have a passion for food and customer service
-Be up to date with food trends and concepts
-Have good communication and organizational skills
-Be enthusiastic and friendly with a positive can do attitude
