We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Chef de Partie to join our clients' team at this B&I site based in Central London.
Catering for a corporate company, the catering department provides an all-day food offer for approx. 350 people on site as well as hospitality and fine dining.
Working within a team of 4 chefs and 2 kitchen porters, you will preparing high standard food both the busy staff café and the hospitality department. The kitchen works as a team so in addition to cooking, you will be involved in ordering, stock checks, checking deliveries and assisting with training where needed. This is a busy environment so you will need to be organised as well as be adaptable and able to think on your feet.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 – 15:30 (with occasional evenings to cover holidays and events) 40 hours per week
Our ideal candidate would
-At Chef de Partie level with a good work history
-Have worked within corporate catering or hotels
-Have a minimum of 2 years' experience within a professional kitchen
-Be able to cook using fresh ingredients and produce
-Have an eye for detail and presentation
-Have a genuine passion for food and customer service
-Be able to work within a team as well as use initiative
-Be friendly and flexible with a positive can do attitude
