Job Description
Are you passionate about supporting children's educational development? We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Hackney. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners and contribute to their academic and personal growth.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher, providing invaluable support to pupils aged 5-11. Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, helping to create engaging learning resources, and providing one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a patient and nurturing approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with children and colleagues. You should be enthusiastic about fostering a love for learning and supporting students in reaching their full potential.
This role offers a competitive salary of £80-90 per day, depending on experience, and the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team. The position is full-time, starting in November 2023, and will provide valuable experience for those considering a career in education.
To be considered for this role, previous experience working in a primary school setting is advantageous, although not essential. A passion for supporting children's learning and a desire to make a positive impact are the key qualities we are looking for.
