Starfyn Education are currently searching for experienced behavioural specialists to work as youth mentors in one of our main clients in Kingston. They have roles starting immediately that will carry on in September – They also have new referrals in September, so if you are in a placement but would like to be considered please send your V across.
The Alternative Provision is based in Kingston upon Thames, and has pupils that need your support in Richmond, Surbiton, New Malden and Kingston.
The role will involve you working closely with children with challenging behaviour and associated needs. You will be spending a lot of time on a 1:1 basis with individual pupils, so past experience of working in a special needs environment is preferred, but not essential.
The role will include:
-Working 8:30am to 4pm in Education settings.
-5 days a week
-Working during term times
-Assisting children on a 1:1 basis
Successful candidates will have:
-Past experience of working with children within the last 3 years
-A passion for working in special needs
-A desire to help students achieve
