Apprenticeship Manager – 4/5 days per week

PROVEN EXPERIENCE OF WORKING UNDER OFQUAL REGULATIONS IS ESSENTIAL
An exciting opportunity to join a well established Professional Body and manage their assessment service, specifically for Apprenticeships and End Point Assessments. This is a permanent role working either 4 or 5 days per week, depending on candidate preference.
Knowledge of quality assurance, apprenticeship standards and delivering assessments in an education or professional body setting is essential.
The Role:
Develop and implement all processes and materials relating to Apprenticeship and End Point Assessments
Develop ongoing relationships with Apprenticeships providers
Support the review and development of new and existing Apprenticeship standards
Manage the assessment team, providing support, guidance and training as required
Keep up to date with Ofqual regulations
Develop and manage robust quality management procedures/systems to ensure Ofqual requirements are met
Actively promote Apprenticeship programmes
Develop internal and external QA processes
Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
Manage the Assessment Coordinator
Experience/Skills
Experience of quality assurance and regulatory body processes.
Experience of working in an Ofqual AO.
A good understanding of apprenticeship standards, qualifications and valid assessment.
Experience of developing and delivering assessments in an education or professional body setting.
Excellent organisational skills and experience of leading and managing an effective team.
The ability to build and maintain effective partnerships and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
Ability to review processes and procedures to achieve continuous improvement.
Ability to manage time and work with autonomy.
Excellent IT skills, including MS Office suite of products and the ability to use bespoke systems.
