Our client who deals with financial disputes is currently recruiting for an Asset Management Analyst, this is a permanent role, 35hours a week, salary up to £38,800 per annum. This is a hybrid working position based in the London Docklands area.
As an Asset Management Analyst, you'll be working closely with technical colleagues to deliver our asset and configuration processes. You'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our configuration management database (CMDB) and be confident mapping configuration item (CI) data accurately.
Our client is looking for someone with a minimum of 18 months Asset Management experience preferably within a large estate. The role will include reporting, auditing, data cleansing and governing the Asset managing process through undertaking spot checks.
Key Responsibilities
Producing established reports and getting them to the relevant people in a timely manner – you'll also be looking at ways to improve our reporting in the IT department
Ensuring that our assets are accurate and up to date in our service management system
Working with our front-end services and technical teams to ensure the values of the process are upheld and provide support as required
Managing and reporting our IT assets for both hardware and software
Ensuring that configuration items are maintained appropriately including their relationships to services in the CMDB
Minimum Criteria
Proficient user of Microsoft Excel
Experience using insights to make recommendations on how we can improve asset and configuration management
Experience of running audits
Broad knowledge of other ITIL processes, specifically those that interface with asset and configuration such as change and incident management
