Brake Press Setter Operators Permanent

Fit Out UK are a leading interior fit out contractor with nationwide coverage working in the Retail, Leisure, Commercial & Residential Sectors.

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking Brake Press Setter Operators to work in our busy workshop providing an efficient quality focused service, you will be Break pressing metalwork as requested.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The role holder will set up and operate the brake press to achieve maximum output and quality. You will assist the Metalwork Supervisor to set machines and monitor accuracy.

As part of this role, you will check quality and dimensions, stack/label and count parts against the labour paperwork before releasing to other departments.

You will have the ability to carry out daily operational checks as required, ensure results are visible and report all findings to the Metalwork Supervisor.

The role holder will report any maintenance issues to the Metalwork Supervisor.

Key Skills and Requirements

As a Brake Press Setter Operator, you will have solid experience of sheet metalwork/ fabrication and brake press operation.

You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, good interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, flexible and have a positive attitude and work ethic.

The role holder will have the ability to work individually and as part of a team as well as sorting and prioritising workload.
